Reading Students’ Union

Sector: Non-profit

Reading Students’ Union exist to improve the lives of all students, every day. Our mission is to provide a platform for good, creating a community where all voices are equal, and everyone is free and safe to express themselves, enjoy good times with friends and feel supported on their path through University.

What we do

Our offering is incredibly diverse! For our students, we have a 2,500-capacity nightclub, food outlets, a free advice service, volunteering opportunities, clubs, societies and opportunities for students to campaign on the issues they care about. Our venue can also be hired for community events.

Why we became a member

To become more connected with our local community, to share our experiences and learn from others, and help our students feel more connected with Reading.

Who we would like to connect with

We’d love to make local connections which benefit our students and staff, providing opportunities for them to become more a part of the Reading community. We can share volunteering, employment, or event opportunities with students and we can provide other organisations with opportunities to connect with students through advertising, events and joining us on campus.
