KEG was established in 2018 to fight the closure of RGC and the sale of the land for housing. The group was originally a small number of golf club members plus some local residents who would be directly affected by the Golf Club’s plans. It has since grown and now has almost 1,400 subscribers and is recognised by local people as the voice of Emmer Green as regards this planning proposal.
