British Islamic Gardens (BIG) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Reading, Berkshire. Run solely by volunteers, we are creating garden spaces around mosques that grow in harmony with the environment, encouraging community cohesion without compromising on sustainability.

Why we became a member
We believe being part of Connect Reading will help create community partnership between our platform and other organisations. We would love to host groups at our project site whilst hoping our own volunteers & members could benefit from skills (such as basic software office skills, how to best set up social media, etc.) shared by other Connect Reading partners.
We would like to be part of a successful community of people/groups working positively together to benefit all.
